Anthea Koral

Anthea joined Prescient Securities in July 2010 as the Operations Manager.

Anthea emigrated back from the UK in 2009 where she resided for 12 years. During this time she worked as a Senior Manager for 9 years at Fidelity International, a leading Investment Management firm in the UK. Anthea spent most of her time at Fidelity in Group Reporting and Analysis, but also worked in Investment Administration as a Senior Fund Accountant for 2 years. Prior to this she worked at HSBC Bank for 2 years before joining Fidelity.

She has a B.Com degree from UCT, and is a fellow member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA). Anthea also has an Investment Administration Qualification gained in the UK.


Rosamund Coert

Joined Prescient Securities in August of 2000 to fill the position of Administrator.

Prior to her employ at Prescient Securities, Rosamund had been in the employ of Southern Asset Management, with a short stint at Standard Equities in-between. For the 5 years she was employed at Southern Asset Management she gained experience in dealing administration as well as some experience in Equities and Money Market trading.

Rosamund then moved on to Standard Equities, where she gained a wealth of experience in stock-broking administration which prepared her for the current position she holds at Prescient Securities.

Shaleen Christie

Shaleen joined Prescient Securities in July 2000 after being on the Institutional dealing desk of an asset management company trading in Fixed Income products.

She is involved in the trading on the Fixed Income desk as well as fulfilling an accounting function.



Tanya May

Tanya started her career in Investments at Southern Life Association (later renamed Southern Asset Management) in 1995 as a Data Capture Clerk. Tanya then moved to the Accounting Department of Investments, where she was responsible for payments and requisitions, cash management and reconciliation of Income accounts. In 1996 she completed an Introductory JSE course.

In 1998 Tanya moved to Standard Equities (later renamed SCMB Securities) as a Dealing Administrator. She was responsible for dealing administration associated with institutional trades including loading of accounts, settlement queries and dealing allocations via BDA.

She joined Prescient in January 2002 to assist in the administration and completed the Settlement Officers Exam in April 2002.


Nkululeko Badini

Nkululeko joined Prescient in 2003 as a General Office Administrator. Through Prescient Nkululeko is furthering his education by studying his Business Management diploma.

Nkululeko is also the founding member and Chairperson of the Sekusile Skills and Empowerment NPO. This organisation seeks to alleviate poverty through the encouragement and support of the Youth in Westlake. This involves home visits and activities for youths and the general encouragement of young people to attend school.

At the moment Sekusile has a gym facility, a traditional dancers and Gospel group and is working towards a computer centre. Through his hard work with Sekusile, in 2006, Nkululeko won both the Youth Development Excellence award and The Youth Entrepreneurship Excellence Award. These achievements earned him the Western Cape Youth Premiers Excellence Award
